More than 25 years serving our customers
The history of Paolo & Associates is closely linked to the professional career of its founding partner, Jaime Paolo, a lawyer with over 35 years of experience practicing law in Panama. He has combined private practice with a deep understanding of institutions and public administration, experience that allows the firm to develop a comprehensive view of the legal environment in which its clients operate.
In 1999, Paolo & Associates was founded, launching a professional project focused on providing excellent legal counsel; guiding companies, cooperatives, financial institutions, and other private sector stakeholders in matters of a civil, commercial, labor, and administrative nature.
His career also includes significant responsibilities in the public sector, including National Director of Legal Counsel for the Ministry of Health (MINSA), Acting Vice Minister of Health, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of CONSALUD. These roles provided him with firsthand knowledge of the workings of public administration and the relationship between state institutions and the private sector. Today, that legacy continues to be an essential part of Paolo & Asociados' identity and is reflected in the way the firm approaches each matter: with legal knowledge, practical judgment, and a deep understanding of the Panamanian reality based on the needs of our clients.
